POSTER PRESENTATIONS

Call for Poster Presentations

Deadline to Submit – September 4, 2012

 

The Summit’s poster session will continue the established tradition of providing an interaction opportunity for researchers and practitioners to present and demonstrate their new and innovative work-in-progress and to obtain feedback from their peers.

 

Posters will be peer-reviewed by members of the Posters Committee based on originality, significance, quality, and clarity. Poster authors are not required to transfer copyright. Accepted poster authors will be asked to generate a poster and possible demonstration to be displayed in a dedicated poster area and presented during a poster session at the conference. To encourage high-quality submissions, awards will be presented to the Best Poster and the Best Student Poster.

 

Poster Themes

As our cities age and technology advances, massive investment is needed in our water infrastructure.  What technologies, policies, financing options, and paradigm shifts will close the gap between what is needed and what is available?  Water Summit 2012: Building the Water-Centric City will explore the challenges all cities face related to water supply, distribution, and wastewater treatment.

Topics should fit the general themes of infrastructure or water technologies and may include, but are not limited to:

Economic Development Floodplain Management
GIS and Water Management Water Quality and TMDLs
Water/Energy Issues Water Policy and Law
Water Supply Management/Planning Innovative Water Technologies

All attendees must register for the Water Summit 2012. Poster presenters DO NOT receive a complimentary registration.
